Experienced Window Installation Crew (W2 or 1099 Contractor)

Location:

North Charleston, SC (and surrounding areas) Charleston Roofs and Windows is seeking reliable, skilled window installation crews to handle replacement window and door projects in residential homes. We offer steady work year-round with competitive pay based on experience and performance. Full crews preferred, but we will consider strong 2-3 person teams.

Employment Options:

W2 Employee positions available (benefits may apply based on hours and performance). 1099 Independent Contractor positions — crews must carry their own current general liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance (proof of coverage required before starting work). Key Responsibilities:

Safely remove old windows/doors and properly install new replacement windows (primarily vinyl/PVC, some aluminum/wood-clad) Great communication with scheduling manager Measure openings accurately, level and plumb installations, apply proper flashing, sealing, and trim work Maintain clean, organized job sites and protect customer property Follow manufacturer installation guidelines and local building codes Communicate professionally with customers and address any questions or concerns on-site

Requirements:

Proven experience installing replacement windows (at least 2+ years preferred; multi-crew experience a big plus) Ability to work efficiently as a team to complete 10+ windows per day (depending on complexity) Own basic hand/power tools required for window installation (saws, levels, drills, caulk guns, etc.) Reliable transportation to job sites Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders/scaffolding, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions Crew Leader must be fluent in English (spoken and written) with strong customer communication skills — you'll interact directly with homeowners to explain the process, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications:
