Job Description

Job Summary:
The Window Treatment Installer at 605 Blinds plays a critical role in delivering a high-quality customer experience through the expert installation of custom window treatments and exterior shades and awnings. This individual is responsible for leading and executing installations in customer homes and businesses, ensuring precision, efficiency, and professionalism at every step. The Lead Installer represents the company on-site, maintains high standards of workmanship, and ensures every project is completed to the customer's satisfaction. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to advance their technical skills while delivering high-quality installation services that keep our clients connected!
Key Responsibilities:
Installation Services:
Professionally install custom blinds, shades, shutters, drapery hardware, and other window treatments as well as exterior patio shades and awnings in residential and commercial settings. Review work orders, measurements, and product specifications prior to installation to ensure accuracy and preparedness. Ensure all installations are completed to the highest standards with strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Safely and efficiently use tools, ladders, and installation equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve any installation challenges on-site. Conduct final walkthroughs with customers to ensure satisfaction and proper product operation.
Job Site Management:
Serve as the lead on installation projects, maintaining control of the job site and workflow. Coordinate installation schedules and communicate any delays or issues to the Operations Manager. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site at all times. Protect customer property by using proper coverings, tools, and care during installations.
Customer Service:
Provide a professional, courteous, and respectful experience in every customer interaction. Clearly explain product operation, care, and maintenance to customers upon completion. Address customer questions or concerns confidently and professionally on-site. Represent the 605 Blinds brand with professionalism in appearance, communication, and conduct.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in window treatment installation, carpentry, or a related skilled trade preferred. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on the fly. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and lead installation projects with confidence. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and ladders. Ability to read and interpret measurements, work orders, and installation instructions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry products and tools up to 75 pounds. Comfortable working on ladders and at varying heights. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move throughout the workday in residential and commercial environments.
Compensation and Benefits:
Beginning compensation of $22-$30/hour (based on experience). Opportunities for performance-based bonuses tied to efficiency and quality. Growth opportunities as the company expands.
Work Hours:
Full-time position. Work scheduled Monday-Friday with occasional flexibility based on installation demands.
Pay:
$22.00 - $35.00 per hour
