Position Overview As a Commercial Furniture Installation Technician, you will be responsible for delivering, assembling, and installing commercial office furniture and equipment while representing BFS Installs professionally at every customer location. Our installers work closely with Lead Installers, Project Managers, the Core Team, and warehouse personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Every project matters. Every customer interaction matters. Every detail matters. What You'll Do Install commercial office furniture including workstations, private offices, conference rooms, seating, case goods, wall systems, educational furniture, medical equipment, and specialty products. Read installation drawings and manufacturer specifications to ensure accurate installation. Unload company trucks, stage product, and prepare work areas. Safely operate 16 to 26 foot company box trucks while following all DOT regulations and company safety standards. Communicate with Lead Installers, Project Managers, and the Core Team throughout each project. Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites. Identify and communicate issues before they become problems. Represent BFS Installs with professionalism and respect while working with customers and teammates. Follow all company safety procedures to protect yourself, your team, customer property, and company equipment. Assist with warehouse receiving, staging, and inventory organization when needed. Minimum Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to speak, read, and understand English is required to safely communicate with customers, teammates, read installation drawings, manufacturer instructions, safety information, and company documentation. Current DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one before operating company vehicles. Experience driving 16 to 26 foot commercial box trucks preferred. Ability to safely lift, move, push, and pull 70 to 100 pounds throughout the workday. Reliable transportation.
