Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of glass in various structures. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Glazier will work on a variety of projects, ensuring that all glass installations meet safety and quality standards. Duties Install glass in windows, doors, and other structures according to specifications. Fabricate glass pieces as needed for custom installations. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements. Assemble and install metal stud framing for glass installation. Perform construction estimating to assess project costs and materials needed. Conduct repairs on existing glass installations, ensuring durability and safety. Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols. Assist with fixture installation and cabinet installation as required. Experience Proven experience as a Glazier or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics is essential. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is an advantage. Experience in metal stud framing, construction painting, and fixture installation is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
