In this role, you will operate advanced robotic cutting equipment to shape and prepare fiberglass components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure high-quality fabrication of parts used in various industrial applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery, contribute to innovative manufacturing processes, and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will drive the success of our production line while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Operate robotic fiberglass cutting machinery with accuracy, following detailed work instructions and safety protocols Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to program, monitor, and troubleshoot robotic systems for optimal performance Conduct quality inspections using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment, ensuring proper materials handling and storage Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on industrial equipment, including CNC machines, press brake machines, CNC lathes, and plastics extrusion or blow molding equipment Assist in fabrication and assembly of fiberglass components, utilizing hand tools and fabrication techniques Maintain detailed documentation of production activities, quality checks, and equipment issues to support lean manufacturing practices Experience Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC lathes, press brake machines, or plastics extrusion equipment Familiarity with robotics programming and troubleshooting using PLCs in an industrial setting Hands-on knowledge of plastics blow molding, injection molding, or related plastics fabrication processes Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and quality control purposes Experience with machining tools like micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement instruments Warehouse experience including materials handling with forklifts preferred Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction in production workflows This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills in robotics-driven manufacturing environments.
