Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Glazier with 5+ years of experience - Glass Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this pivotal role, you will lead residential glass installation projects, ensuring precision and quality in every job. Your expertise will help transform spaces by installing, repairing, and fabricating glass components for a variety of residential projects. In addition, you will assist our commercial glazier with commercial installation and fabrication when needed. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards. As the business grows, we expect this position to take the Lead Glazier role as we hire segment specific crews. Duties Lead and coordinate glass installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications Measure, cut, fabricate, and install glass panels, windows, mirrors, and custom glass fixtures with precision Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to complete installations Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements Oversee heavy lifting operations and ensure proper handling of large or fragile glass materials Perform caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, door hanging, fixture installation, cabinet installation, and remodeling tasks as needed Supervise safety protocols on construction sites to maintain a secure working environment for all team members Skills Extensive experience with glass installation techniques and fabrication processes Proficient with technology, iPad and smart phone software to process jobs, dispatch and bill customers This position faces the customer, being the companies face to the homeowner during installation, communicating the process, requesting reviews and processing final payment. Must be presentable, good with customers, clean and neat, no criminal record that would conflict with in-home service requirements. Have a valid drivers license and clean driving record Skilled in using hand tools such as chisels, drills, hammers; power tools including saws and grinders; as well as specialized fabrication equipment Strong background in construction site experience with knowledge of schematics and technical drawings Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling Knowledge of caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, construction painting, and maintenance person skills Familiarity with fixture installation—such as mirrors or custom glass features—and remodeling projects Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values craftsmanship, safety, and innovation.
