Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Installer Technician to measure, deliver, and install window treatment products in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, basic carpentry knowledge, and solid computer skills to accurately manage job information, measurements, scheduling, and installation documentation. Key Responsibilities Install blinds, shades, shutters, and other window treatment products according to company standards. Perform accurate on-site measurements for new installations. Ensure all products are installed safely, securely, and professionally. Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise. Educate customers on product operation, care, and maintenance. Use company software, tablets, smartphones, and computer systems to enter measurements, update job statuses, and complete installation reports. Maintain accurate digital records and communicate job updates promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at customer locations. Load, transport, and unload products and tools safely. Complete installation paperwork and document job completion. Communicate effectively with customers, office staff, and team members. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in blinds, shades, window treatments, construction, carpentry, or a related field is preferred. Good computer skills, including proficiency with email, mobile apps, tablets, and basic data entry. Ability to learn and use company software and technology platforms. Ability to use hand and power tools safely. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work on ladders. Skills & Competencies Mechanical aptitude and installation skills. $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
