Overview Join our dynamic team as a Glazier/Installer and become a vital part of transforming spaces with precision and craftsmanship! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining glass and glazing systems across various construction projects. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every site. Duties Measure, cut, and fabricate glass materials accurately according to project specifications using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine installation requirements. Install windows, doors, glass panels, fixtures, and trim with precision, ensuring proper fit and finish. Handle glass materials safely during transportation, storage, fabrication, and installation to prevent damage or injury. Perform quality control measurements to verify proper alignment, sealing, and overall installation integrity. Assist in remodeling projects by installing drywall, metal stud framing, caulking, painting touch-ups, and other related tasks. Use construction estimating skills to assist with project planning and material procurement as needed. Skills Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate installation. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, tape measures, and caulking guns; familiarity with power tools is essential. Experience in window installation, glass materials handling, door hanging, fixture installation, and cabinet setup. Knowledge of construction site safety procedures along with experience working on construction sites or remodeling projects. Skilled in dimensional measurements for quality control and precise fitting of glass components. Ability to lift heavy glass panels safely while maintaining proper posture; physical stamina is required. Background in carpentry including trim carpentry and frame construction; handyman experience is a plus. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or schematics for project execution. Pay:
$30.00 - $33.00 per hour
