Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Glass Installer and bring precision, craftsmanship, and energy to every project! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in a variety of settings, from commercial storefronts to residential windows. Your expertise will help create safe, beautiful, and functional spaces for our clients. Duties Measure and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise glass installation. Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and install glass panels securely. Handle heavy lifting safely while transporting and positioning large glass units. Install various fixtures such as doors, cabinets, mirrors, and window frames with attention to detail. Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weatherproofing and insulation of installed glass components. Read schematics and fabrication instructions to accurately assemble glass structures or custom pieces. Perform remodeling tasks including trim carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, and painting as needed on job sites. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly. Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks such as framing, drywall installation, or handyman repairs. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during heavy lifting or the use of power tools. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating and blueprint reading for accurate project planning. Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., chisels, screwdrivers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws). Experience with glass installation techniques across commercial and residential projects. Strong knowledge of fabrication processes within manufacturing or construction environments. Background in carpentry including trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, and cabinet setup. Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings for precise assembly. Familiarity with metal stud framing, drywall finishing, caulking applications, and remodeling procedures. Physical strength for heavy lifting and working at heights or on scaffolding. Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to construction tasks. Handyman experience that includes general repairs, painting, or fixture upgrades is a plus.
