Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Glass & Aluminum Installer / Technician to join our team in Lorton, VA. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience installing commercial and residential architectural glass and aluminum systems.

Responsibilities:

Install aluminum storefront systems, commercial doors, and frames Install curtain wall and aluminum window systems Install frameless shower doors and enclosures Install glass railings and railing hardware Measure, handle, and safely install tempered and laminated glass Install insulated glass units (IGUs) Install door hardware, closers, locks, pivots, and related components Perform field measurements and verify openings before installation Read shop drawings, architectural plans, and measurements Properly seal and glaze glass and aluminum systems Troubleshoot and adjust doors, glass, and hardware Maintain a clean and safe jobsite

Requirements:

Previous glass/glazing or aluminum installation experience preferred Experience with storefront and commercial glass is highly preferred Ability to accurately use a tape measure and construction tools Ability to lift and safely handle large/heavy glass Valid driver's license preferred Reliable transportation Dependable, professional, and able to work as part of a team OSHA knowledge/certification is a plus
