Job Description
American Screen & Glass (AS&G) is looking for an experienced Lead Installer to join our team. The Lead Installer is responsible for safely and professionally completing residential and light commercial glass, window, door, screen, mirror, and shower enclosure projects while leading a two-person installation crew and providing excellent service to our customers. Responsibilities Lead a two-person installation crew and complete assigned jobs safely, efficiently, and professionally. Install and repair glass, insulated glass units (IGUs), windows, doors, screens, mirrors, shower enclosures, and related products. Review job information and confirm measurements, materials, and scope before and during installation. Troubleshoot field conditions and solve installation problems as they arise. Communicate professionally with customers and explain the work being completed. Maintain company tools, vehicles, materials, and equipment. Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe. Accurately document job progress, photos, materials, and completion using company systems and tools. Help train and develop less-experienced installers. Support company improvements and actively adopt new tools, processes, and ways of working. Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on installation, construction, or skilled-trades experience. Ability to lead a crew and take responsibility for completing jobs correctly. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Comfortable using hand tools and power tools. Able to accurately measure and work from job specifications. Professional and courteous with customers and coworkers. Dependable, organized, and safety-conscious. Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for job information and documentation. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Glass, window, door, shower enclosure, or related installation experience preferred.
Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:
