In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing siding and windows on residential homes. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing building aesthetics, energy efficiency, and structural integrity. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for craftsmanship, safety, and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Duties Measure and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure precise installation of siding and windows according to project specifications. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, framing, or applying necessary materials such as caulking or trim carpentry to ensure optimal installation conditions. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively to cut, shape, and install siding panels, window frames, and related components. Follow construction plans meticulously while adhering to all safety regulations, including the use of construction safety harnesses and personal protective equipment. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to transport materials and equipment around the job site. Conduct quality inspections during and after installation to ensure compliance with industry standards and client expectations. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Skills Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of siding installation, window fitting, and restoration projects. Proficiency in interpreting construction plans accurately. Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws). Knowledge of construction safety regulations including proper use of safety harnesses and adherence to workplace safety standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation processes. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics efficiently. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to safety practices on the job site.
