Job Description

We are a diversified construction company specializing in commercial & residential flooring, glass & glazing, walls & ceilings, commercial doors & hardware, and millwork & fixture installation.
Position Description Position Description:
We are seeking experienced commercial window installers who are responsible for installing commercial window products. Requires periodic overnight travel in and out of state. H.J. Martin and Son offers a competitive compensation and benefit package that also includes daily per diem and lodging provided while traveling on a job.
Principal Responsibilities:
Installing commercial aluminum windows, entrances, skylights, glass, etc. according to blueprints or drawings Communicates effectively with others in all phases of work and is safety oriented Ensures job site remains clean and orderly
Other Duties As Assigned:
Performs other related duties as assigned including supporting team members in the completion of their work for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the business.
Position Requirements Experience/Education Required:
High School diploma or GED required Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to read shop drawings and plans Demonstrates dependability, accountability and initiative Be able to work independently and in a team setting A year of experience in the field is preferred Some overnight travel is required Conditions of employment: Must be able to pass pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen. The employee is expected to all adhere to all company policies. Requires strenuous physical work with the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds independently and 100+ pounds as a team lift, including frequent work on hands/knees, while pushing and pulling, bending and twisting, while performing physical labor that is essential to completing the project.
