Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Siding and Window Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality siding and windows on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring durability, energy efficiency, and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install various types of siding materials such as vinyl, fiber cement, metal, or stucco according to project specifications and blueprints Install windows of different sizes and styles with precision, ensuring proper sealing and insulation for energy efficiency Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute installation tasks Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and safety harnesses effectively while following all construction safety regulations Conduct site preparation including framing, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, and masonry work as needed for seamless integration of siding and window systems Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations including proper ladder use and heavy lifting techniques Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high quality standards Qualifications Proven experience in siding installation, window installation, or related construction fields with a strong understanding of roofing repair, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and restoration projects Skilled in interpreting blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans Familiarity with construction estimating processes and blueprint reading Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations including the use of safety harnesses and ladder safety practices Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, carpentry techniques such as trim carpentry and framing Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions Prior experience with drywall finishing, caulking, stucco application, tile laying or masonry is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to interpret technical instructions accurately Valid experience in construction site management or handyman roles is advantageous Join our team to build exceptional structures while advancing your skills in a supportive environment that values craftsmanship and safety.
