Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Glass Glazier to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in a variety of settings, including commercial, residential, and remodeling projects including auto glass and shower doors. Your expertise will help create beautiful, functional spaces by working with a wide range of glass products and related materials. Duties Measure and cut glass accurately using hand tools, power tools, and schematics to meet project specifications Install glass panels in windows, doors, storefronts, partitions, and custom fixtures with precision and care Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and ensure proper installation procedures Fabricate glass components in the shop or on-site as needed for custom projects or repairs Use caulking, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing techniques to secure glass installations securely and neatly Perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or fragile glass sheets or assemblies Complete remodeling tasks such as door hanging, fixture installation, cabinet setup, and construction painting as part of comprehensive project execution Requirements Proven experience in glass installation within construction or remodeling environments would be ideal. Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, scrapers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and fabrication equipment Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes can help greatly Familiarity with metal stud framing, drywall installation, carpentry techniques including trim carpentry and frame carpentry Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during delicate glass handling Experience with caulking, fixture installation, door hanging, cabinetry setup, and remodeling projects is highly desirable Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert glass craftsmanship!
