Fitout Tradesman A-Class Pay:
$40.00 per hour + $1,000
Sign-On Bonus Location:
Mobile, AL Required Experience Candidates must have experience in at least one of the following: Sheet Metal Mechanic Industrial Insulator HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Qualifications To qualify, you should have: 3 years of progressive marine experience OR 5 years of comparable construction trade experience Working knowledge of: Cabinet making Carpentry Industrial insulation HVAC systems Basic mechanical aptitude and trade math skills Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints and mechanical drawings Ability to interpret construction drawings and perform accurate material takeoffs Job Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings with minimal supervision. Lay out, fabricate, and install: Bulkheads Doors Ceilings Shelving Furniture Consoles Other interior components Measure, fabricate, and install insulation and ductwork. Mark layouts, shoot pins, and insulate deckheads, side shells, beams, and duct systems. Measure, build, and install mounting pads. Install pipe insulation and fittings with clean, professional workmanship. Fabricate sheet metal using shears and brakes. Read both standard and metric tape measurements. Take drawings and materials to the job site and complete work independently. Install valves, air hangers, and other HVAC equipment. Lay out hangers, ductwork, and related components. Perform basic interior painting as needed. Complete work safely, accurately, and with minimal supervision.
