In this energetic role, you will lead installation crews, interpret technical drawings, and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed. Your expertise in construction, blueprint reading, and insulation installation will drive project success from start to finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership skills while working on diverse residential projects that make a real difference in people's homes. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate insulation installation crews, ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately, and safely. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine insulation specifications and installation procedures. Measure spaces accurately using basic math skills to determine material quantities and cut lengths. Install various types of building insulation materials, including fiberglass, spray foam, cellulose, and foam boards, following manufacturer guidelines. Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, fit, and secure insulation materials in walls, attics, basements, and other areas. Adhere to all safety protocols related to ladder use, power tool operation, scaffolding, and site safety standards. Communicate effectively with clients to explain project scope, progress, and address any questions or concerns during installation. Collaborate with construction teams on framing, drywall, roofing, masonry, and other trades as needed for seamless project execution. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly. Conduct quality checks throughout the project to ensure insulation is installed correctly according to specifications. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on building insulation installation or related trades such as carpentry or drywall finishing. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and interpreting schematics or technical drawings. Hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools safely on residential sites. Knowledge of ladder use, scaffolding safety procedures, and climbing techniques required for working at heights. Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed specifications for insulation projects. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to material needs. Strong understanding of safety protocols including power tool safety standards and site hazard awareness. Previous leadership experience leading small teams or crews in a construction environment is preferred but not required.
