The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of insulation techniques, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. As an Insulation Supervisor, you will coordinate teams, ensure safety standards are met, and deliver high-quality work on schedule. This role requires proficiency in blueprint reading, construction estimating, and a variety of construction trades including carpentry, drywall, and masonry. Responsibilities Lead and supervise insulation installation crews on multiple construction projects Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project requirements Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely completion of work Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to install insulation materials effectively Oversee the use of scaffolding, lifts, and other equipment ensuring safety compliance Conduct quality control inspections to verify proper insulation installation and adherence to specifications Manage material inventory and order supplies as needed for ongoing projects Train and mentor team members in proper techniques for insulation installation and related trades Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies Requirements Proven experience in construction site management or as a supervisor with a focus on insulation projects Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in insulation installation Familiarity with related trades such as carpentry (trim carpentry), drywall (plastering), masonry, roofing, HVAC systems, metal stud framing, concrete finishing, and construction painting Mechanical knowledge relevant to insulation materials and installation techniques Ability to read technical schematics related to HVAC systems or other mechanical components Experience with fabrication processes related to insulation components is a plus Knowledge of safety standards including caulking procedures, stucco application, airless paint spraying, and working at heights Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively on busy construction sites Valid experience in construction estimating is preferred but not mandatory This position offers an opportunity to lead dynamic teams in a fast-paced environment while applying your extensive construction expertise.
