Licensed HVAC Contractor (C-20)/RME

Job Description:

We are looking to hire a Responsible Managing Employee (RME) with a valid

C-20 HVAC

license to provide oversight and support for our growing HVAC and electric appliance business. This person would perform site inspections, device installation, and post install provisioning and quality inspections. They would interface with customers and become the front line of our mission to ease the transition to the electric home. The ideal candidate would grow with the company and help us improve the efficiency of the business over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Site visits: timely coordination and communication when traveling to customers' homes

Inspections:

Inspect potential homes and building for feasibility of installing Merino products, including finding creative ways to install in old or unique buildings Inventory management: Manage equipment, including consumables, tools, and inventory to ensure a quality installation

Installation:

Install the products, which requires drilling and use of standard hand tools

Installation Verification:

Test the installation to ensure the device was installed correctly and is working properly, including troubleshooting where needed

Cleaning:

Clean and dispose of construction materials from customers home, leaving the space spotless

Key Qualifications:

Current C-20 holder Ability to travel around the Bay Area to job sites, drivers license required 5+ years Experience installing equipment in a residential setting Clear, direct, timely communication skills Experience working directly with customers Ability to perform construction activities - drilling, lifting, working on a ladder, moving equipment, measuring, levelling, cleaning, finishing Ability to manage and lead others during installations Post installation testing to confirm proper function and installation Nice to

Have Qualifications:

Experience installing heat pumps and other electric appliances C-10 license, including experience adding and moving electrical outlets C-36 license, including capping gas lines and removing gas appliances M-1 inspection license Experience leading construction teams and building a scalable business California Building Energy Efficiency certification (CEA, ECC, etc)

Compensation & Benefits:

Full Time W2 employee $80K-$120K Annual salary, depending on experience

Pay:

$85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
