Job Description

Overview No Sweat Pipe Insulation LLC is looking to expand and hire multiple HVAC & Plumbing Piping Insulators in South Carolina and Savannah, GA area ASAP. We're looking for reliable people with previous experience in insulation or individuals willing to learn. This role, you will be responsible for installing insulation piping systems for HVAC, and domestic water plumbing piping insulation across diverse construction projects. Starting rate is $20/hr based on experience. Subcontractors with own crews are welcome to apply. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install insulation materials on HVAC and plumbing piping systems following detailed blueprints. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely to access work areas at various heights. Interpret technical drawings and schematics to accurately execute insulation installation according to project specifications. Follow strict safety protocols related to power tool use, ladder climbing, and working at heights to prevent accidents. Fabricate insulation components on-site as needed, ensuring proper fit and finish for optimal system performance. Experience Previous construction experience with a focus on HVAC or plumbing piping insulation is highly preferred. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings is advantageous. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment is essential. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are required for precise fitting of insulation materials. Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols related to power tool safety, climbing, working at heights, and site-specific procedures.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
