What You'll Do As an Insulation Tech, you'll support insulation installations on mechanical systems that help buildings operate more efficiently.

Your daily work may include:

Installing insulation on pipes, ductwork, and mechanical systems Cleaning and preparing surfaces prior to insulation application Measuring, cutting, and fitting insulation materials accurately Assisting experienced technicians with tools, materials, and setup Keeping job sites clean, organized, and safe Following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE No two days are exactly the same, and you'll gain hands-on experience in a specialized trade with strong long-term demand. What We're Looking For Must-Haves Entry-level construction or general labor experience (or strong willingness to learn) Valid driver's license Ability to work safely in an active construction environment Reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic Nice to Have (Not Required) Insulation or insulator experience Mechanical or trade-related exposure Interest in building a long-term career in construction Why You'll Want to Work Here We go beyond a paycheck. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Ames, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
