POSITION SUMMARY
The Spray Foam Technician is responsible for preparing, applying, and finishing spray foam insulation on residential, commercial, and agricultural projects while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, strong teamwork, and consistent reliability to ensure each job meets or exceeds company and customer expectations. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Complete all assigned insulation projects on time and within estimated labor hours. Apply spray foam insulation to meet thickness and coverage specifications with 95% accuracy. Maintain 100% compliance with PPE and safety procedures. Prepare, set up, and tear down spray equipment efficiently (target: 30 minutes or less per cycle). Keep rigs, tools, and job sites clean, organized, and inspection-ready every day. Operate and maintain spray foam equipment safely to prevent downtime or misuse. Communicate clearly with crew leaders and teammates to coordinate work effectively. Use material efficiently, keeping waste within 5% of the job estimate. Report hazards, near-misses, or mechanical issues immediately to supervisors. Represent the company with professionalism and respect when interacting with customers and contractors. Uphold company values of integrity, teamwork, and commitment in all aspects of the job. Assist with loading, unloading, and securing equipment and materials for transport.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of experience in spray foam application, insulation, or general construction preferred (training available). Valid driver's license and clean driving record. OSHA or safety certification is preferred but not required. Ability to read and follow safety data sheets and product specifications.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, kneel, or crouch for long periods. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in hot, cold, or confined spaces. Must be able to work at heights using ladders, lifts, or scaffolding. Regular exposure to airborne particles, insulation materials, and variable site conditions. Employees must be able to safely wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators and masks, which may require no facial hair in the seal area.
