Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Spray Foam Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality spray foam insulation on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring energy efficiency and superior craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will be energetic, safety-conscious, and eager to develop their skills in insulation installation, construction techniques, and technical troubleshooting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while contributing to sustainable building practices. Duties Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers to ensure secure working conditions. Mix and apply spray foam insulation accurately according to blueprint specifications and project requirements. Operate power tools and spray equipment safely, adhering to all safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine insulation placement and specifications. Inspect completed work for quality control, ensuring proper coverage, adhesion, and compliance with building codes. Collaborate with team members and clients to communicate project progress, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of waste materials properly, and performing routine equipment maintenance. Requirements Proven construction site experience with familiarity in building insulation installation or related trades such as carpentry or roofing. Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and climbing equipment safely and effectively. Mechanical knowledge related to spray foam equipment operation and troubleshooting. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations. Understanding of safety protocols including power tool safety, fall protection (climbing), and hazard awareness. Physical ability to climb ladders, work at heights, lift heavy materials, and stand for extended periods. Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
