Insulation Installer
LocationDelaware and select areas of Maryland & Pennsylvania (travel to job sites required) Job TypePart time to full time hours Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and hardworking Insulation Installer to support our lead installers on job sites. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys physical work, is eager to learn a skilled trade, and wants steady work with room for growth. The Insulation Installer will perform installation of various insulation types, along with site preparation and cleanup and will be trained in the application of spray foam. ResponsibilitiesAssist lead installers on residential and commercial job sitesPrepare work areas (masking, covering surfaces, setting up equipment)Assist with installing blown-in, batts, spray foam and other insulation materials as required by project needsAssist with insulation removalAssist with applying spray foam insulation (training will be provided)Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materialsDrive company vehicles to and from job sites as neededMaintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, tools, and job sitesClean up job sites thoroughly after work is completedFollow safety procedures and company guidelines at all timesWork efficiently as part of a team to complete jobs on scheduleMaintain a professional and respectful attitude with homeowners and coworkersCommunicate all issues and concerns with management and the officePerform other assigned tasks as neededQualificationsMinimum of 18 years of ageReliable transportation to job sitesValid driver's license and clean driving record requiredAbility to travel to local and out of town job sitesAbility to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor (lifting, bending, stooping, standing, climbing, walking, crawling, kneeling for prolonged periods of time)Comfortable with heights and tight spaces including attics and crawl spacesComfortable working in hot, confined, or dusty environments with chemical productsMust be willing to learn how to apply spray foam insulation - training will be providedMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S.Desired SkillsPrior insulation, construction, or similar experience is a plus, but not requiredExcellent communication skillsDetail-oriented and carefulStrong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learnAbility to take direction and work as part of a teamAbility to troubleshoot, operate, and maintain equipmentAbout Amira InsulationAmira Insulation (also known as Amira Contracting) is a growing, family-owned insulation company serving residential and commercial customers throughout Delaware and surrounding areas.
