Ready to Join a Winning Team? At MAG Insulation, we're more than coworkers - we're family. We're seeking a Senior Insulation Technician / Crew Lead to guide our field teams, mentor technicians, and help deliver high-quality insulation projects across residential and commercial sites.
Job Overview:
As a Senior Insulation Technician / Crew Leader, you'll combine hands-on expertise with leadership skills to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will work with a variety of insulation materials, including fiberglass, foam, cellulose, and spray foam, while guiding a crew of 4-10 field staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead project teams, coordinating tasks and guiding field staff to ensure successful, on-time, and cost-effective project completion. Install insulation in buildings, including walls, attics, roofs, and crawl spaces, using materials such as fiberglass, foam, cellulose, and spray foam. Read and interpret blueprints and project plans to determine insulation requirements and optimal installation methods. Mentor and develop field team members, providing guidance, training, and feedback to build technical skills and professional growth. Serve as a communication bridge between project staff, clients, and partners to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction. Apply finishes such as vapor barriers or sealants as needed, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Operate and maintain tools and spray foam equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, enforcing adherence to all safety protocols.
Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience in insulation or construction-related services, including spray foam application. Proven leadership and crew management experience on construction sites. Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans. Safety-focused with excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Team player with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn and mentor others. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to pass background checks and DOT 10-panel drug screening.
