Insulation Installer

Duties Measure, cut, and install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam board, spray foam, and mineral wool according to project specifications and blueprints Use hand tools like knives, tape measures, and pry bars to prepare insulation components for installation Operate power tools including pneumatic guns, drills, and spray equipment safely and efficiently Read and interpret construction schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation Collaborate with carpenters, drywall installers, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate insulation placement within framing or ductwork Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure airtight insulation systems; perform trim carpentry for finishing touches Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and disposing of debris properly while adhering to safety standards Requirements Proven experience in construction site environments with knowledge of framing, roofing, masonry, or related trades preferred Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in construction and insulation work Mechanical aptitude with understanding of HVAC systems, metal stud framing, plastering, stucco application, concrete finishing or masonry is advantageous Drivers license, ability to back up a trailer preferred.
