INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

Installation Technician - Insulation, Ventilation & Energy Efficiency Lansing, MI Full-Time | Competitive Pay + Benefits | Growth Opportunity About Us Your Home Solution Experts is a fast-growing insulation and building performance company serving the entire state of Michigan. We specialize in improving home health, safety, comfort, and energy efficiency through insulation upgrades, air sealing, ventilation improvements, mold remediation, and crawlspace solutions. We are expanding our install teams and looking for motivated individuals who want to build a long-term career in the skilled trades . What You'll Do Install insulation (attics, walls, rim joists, crawlspaces) Perform air sealing and weatherization work Install attic ventilation systems , including: Baffles to maintain soffit airflow Photovoltaic fans Assist with crawlspace encapsulation , including vapor barrier installation and sealing Assist with mold remediation treatments (training provided) Operate equipment (blowing machines, extractors, spray foam kits, generators, foggers, sprayers, hand & power tools, etc.) Maintain clean, professional job sites Work as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently What We're Looking For Construction, insulation, or general labor experience preferred Willingness to learn: Ventilation systems Crawlspace encapsulation Mold remediation processes Strong work ethic and reliability a MUST Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces Ability to lift 75+ lbs Positive attitude and team mindset Valid driver's license, clean driving record and background check required OSHA 10 Certification preferred First Aid/CPR Certification and Forklift Certification helpful but not required Equipment & Driving Responsibilities Assist with loading/unloading trucks and trailers Safely transport materials and equipment to job sites Ability (or willingness to learn) to: Hook up and disconnect trailers Back up trailers safely into residential job sites Operate company trucks and equipment responsibly Travel Requirements This role requires approximately 25% travel , primarily throughout Michigan to support project demand Occasional overnight stays are expected based on project location Responsible for coordinating crew travel logistics, including: Transportation of team and equipment Job site readiness upon arrival Company provides: Hotel accommodations Per diem for meals (per company policy) Travel schedules are communicated in advance when possible and aligned with project timelines What You Get Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Full-time, steady work Health benefits (after eligibility period) 401(k) with company match Paid training PTO Clear path to Lead Installer / Team Lead role Work with a growing company that values professionalism and development Why This Role Matters You are directly responsible for delivering high-quality work that improves homeowner comfort, safety, and energy efficiency.
