Overview Join our team as an Attic Insulation Installer and play a vital role in enhancing home energy efficiency and comfort! In this energetic position, you will be responsible for installing high-quality insulation materials in attics, ensuring optimal thermal performance. You'll work on residential construction sites, utilizing your construction experience and mechanical knowledge to deliver top-notch results. This role offers a dynamic environment where safety, craftsmanship, and client satisfaction are at the forefront of every project. Duties Safely operate ladders, power tools, and hand tools to install various types of insulation materials such as fiberglass, spray foam, or cellulose Follow safety protocols rigorously to ensure safe working conditions on construction sites, including proper ladder use and power tool safety Use basic math skills to calculate insulation quantities, areas, and proper fitting techniques Collaborate with team members to fabricate or modify insulation components as needed for custom fitting Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling materials like caulking, trim carpentry elements, and other building components Requirements Chauffers License Prior construction site experience with a focus on building insulation installation or related trades such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry Ability to climb ladders confidently and work at heights safely Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, schematics, HVAC systems, and framing techniques Strong understanding of safety protocols including power tool safety and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Experience with construction estimating or following blueprint specifications is a plus Physical stamina to stand, climb, bend, and lift throughout the workday Join us if you're passionate about construction craftsmanship and eager to contribute to energy-efficient homes!
