Job Description

Spray Foam & Polyurea Applicator Cokato, MN The work: We repair and protect underground infrastructure — manholes, lift stations, and municipal wastewater structures — using specialized coatings and spray equipment. If you've run spray foam equipment, that experience transfers directly: same plural component machines, different substrate and environment. A typical day involves pressure washing, concrete grinding and patching, spraying closed-cell foam and polyurea using Graco and PMC plural component equipment, and cleaning and maintaining that equipment. Much of the work is performed inside confined spaces underground, in and around municipal wastewater systems. What the schedule actually looks like: Crews start at 6:00 AM at our Cokato shop. Finish times vary by job. Most work is within driving distance, but out-of-town jobs require overnight hotel stays. Our production season runs about 39 weeks. We shut down roughly January through March. Most of the crew treats that as time off; some pick up winter work.
Physical demands:
Steady physical work — lifting, climbing in and out of structures, on your feet all day, working in tight spaces. Comparable to finish carpentry or drywall in effort. You'll wear a respirator and full PPE.
Pay and advancement:
$55,000-$75,000 to start depending on experience. A strong number-two on a crew — someone who can troubleshoot and repair the equipment, run the spray when needed, and step in as foreman a few times a season — earns $85,000-$95,000 within a couple of years. Foreman positions $100k+ depending on performance. We review pay regularly and promote from within.
Benefits:
Profit sharing, 401(k) with company match, dental insurance, paid training, company uniforms, paid commute time in company vehicles, ESST, and paid holidays. What we're looking for: Construction experience is a plus, but we train from scratch for the right person. What we can't train is showing up on time, working safely around other people, and speaking up when something's wrong. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required; you'll be operating company vehicles.
Hiring process:
Resume optional. A short phone conversation, then an in-person interview, then a 1-4 week trial period working with the crew before we both commit. Hiperline has been in business since 2009 and specializing in underground concrete rehabilitation since 2016.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
