Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking Lightning Protection Installers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and inspecting lightning protection systems. This role requires attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work as part of a team. Prior experience working in construction is desirable. Duties Install lightning protection systems on commercial, industrial and military buildings according to industry standards and safety regulations Inspect existing lightning protection systems for damage or wear and perform necessary repairs or upgrades Collaborate with project managers, customers, and team members Maintain detailed records of installations and inspections Follow all safety protocols during installation Assist in preparing for projects by reviewing blueprints, packing material, and loading/unloading material onto trucks. Must have license, ability to pass drug screening, and be willing to travel during the week. Experience Prior experience in construction is preferred Familiarity with OSHA regulations is preferred; OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 (construction) is desirable Knowledge of lightning protection standards and codes is a plus but not required; training will be provided Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and problem-solving skills Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions as required Ability to lift/carry material
