Mechanical Insulators

Skillforce is seeking experienced Mechanical Insulators for federal construction projects in Jacksonville, NC. at Camp Lejeune. This is a long-term opportunity for skilled tradespeople experienced in commercial insulation systems. Insulators will install insulation on piping and duct systems to improve energy efficiency and system performance.

Pay:

Up to $35/hr depending upon experience

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 40-50 hours/week

Responsibilities:

Install insulation on pipes, ductwork, and mechanical systems Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specifications Apply vapor barriers and protective coverings Read and interpret project drawings Maintain safety and cleanliness on-site

Requirements:

2+ years of mechanical insulation experience Knowledge of insulation materials and installation methods Ability to read blueprints preferred Must pass base background screening Reliable transportation and tools
