Insulation Installer Eco Attic Pro Insilation Raleigh, NC Job Details Contract $30,000 - $100,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Overview Join our dynamic team as an Insulation Installer of Radiant Barrier and blown in insulation and become a vital part of creating energy-efficient, comfortable, and sustainable building environments. In this role, you will be working as a subcontractor and will be responsible for hiring your own help and will be installing various types of insulation materials across residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. This job is in the Raleigh and Charlotte areas but can sometimes be in other areas of North Carolina based on job address so locations vary. Training and Materials provided to thrive as a subcontractor and run your own crew. Jobs will be scheduled for you and sent to you in advance to plan accordingly. Your expertise will help improve building performance while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction and craftsmanship while contributing to impactful projects. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install insulation materials such as radiant barrier and blowing wool according to project specifications and blueprints Use hand tools and power tools to secure insulation in ceilings and attics and other designated areas Read and interpret construction schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation Collaborate with carpenters, masons, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate insulation placement within the overall construction process Apply caulking, trimming, or sealing techniques to ensure insulation is properly fitted and airtight Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot installation issues and adapt techniques as needed Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly Qualifications Prior experience working on construction sites with familiarity in framing, roofing, drywall finishing, or masonry is highly desirable Must have valid drivers license and a Truck that is capable of pulling a small trailer. Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., tape measures, utility knives) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) used in insulation installation Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately for precise application of insulation materials Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to insulation work Basic understanding of HVAC systems, metal stud framing, plastering, stucco application, or concrete finishing is a plus Mechanical aptitude with fabrication skills for custom fitting insulation components Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions Join us in shaping the future of energy-efficient buildings!
