Job Description
Preferred Energy Ltd. is looking to recruit Industrial Insulators. Must be a Journeyman/woman or have at least 5 years experience, have safety tickets and a valid drivers license.
Wage:
$25- 28 per hour (dependent on experience) with $85 per diem Health benefits package available. Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Apply, remove and repair thermal insulation (fibreglass, mineral fibre, foam glass, duct wrap) on various types of industrial mechanical systems.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine insulation requirements. Be able to select the type and amount of insulation required for the job, as well as the method of securing the insulation (banding, wiring, taping).
- Measuring and cutting insulating material to required dimensions using hand and power tools
- Applying and securing insulation using strapping, taping and other application and installation methods
- Fabricate and install metal cladding
