Superior Skilled Trades is hiring experienced Insulators for a large-scale manufacturer in Reno, NV!

Pay Rate Up To:

$36/hour, based on experience

Per Diem:

$90 ( must reside 60+ miles from the project to qualify)

Shift:

Day shift OSHA 10: Required or must be willing to obtain

Job Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, fit, and install insulation and sheet metal coverings with quality workmanship. Work with mineral wool, fiberglass, ArmaFlex, PSK duct wrap, and, when needed, Cryogel and Pyrogel. Read and interpret pipe isometric drawings; Level 2 and Level 3 candidates must also understand HVAC drawings. Safely operate forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts while working at heights and in tight spaces. Use insulation tools, including metal cutters, measuring tapes, channel locks, knippers, dividers, squares, and insulation knives. Follow supervisor instructions, maintain a clean work area, and collaborate with the crew to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications:

Prior experience installing insulation and sheet metal coverings. Proficiency with forklifts and aerial lifts. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work. Strong communication skills, dependability, and attention to detail. Experience using fabrication shop equipment, including brakes, metal cutters, and rollers. Ability to provide crew leadership, support daily goals, and assist with housekeeping responsibilities.
