Responsibilities Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers to ensure secure access and compliance with safety protocols. Mix, handle, and apply spray foam insulation using specialized equipment, following manufacturer instructions and blueprint specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and airless paint sprayers to install insulation accurately across various surfaces and structures. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the correct application areas and measurement requirements. Follow safety procedures rigorously, including proper power tool handling, ladder use, and personal protective equipment (PPE) adherence. Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate installation schedules, communicate progress, and address site-specific challenges. Conduct quality checks on installed insulation, ensuring proper coverage, adhesion, and compliance with project standards. Experience Prior construction site experience with a focus on building insulation installation or related trades such as plastering, framing, or masonry. Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools—including airless paint sprayers—and fabrication techniques. Knowledge of safety protocols related to ladder use, power tool operation, scaffolding setup, and general construction site safety. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary during installation processes. Mechanical knowledge beneficial for understanding equipment maintenance or troubleshooting spray foam machinery. Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
