Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as an Insulation Installer, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing building energy efficiency and comfort. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for installing various types of insulation materials in residential structures. Your expertise will help create sustainable, well-insulated environments by following detailed blueprints and safety protocols. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in construction installation while working on diverse projects that make a real difference. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials using hand tools and caulking guns Install different insulation types including fiberglass, foam board, and mineral wool in walls, ceilings, attics, and floors Use ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas while adhering to all safety protocols Follow blueprint specifications and building codes to ensure proper insulation coverage and quality standards Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly on the construction site Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate work schedules and address project needs Experience Prior construction experience with a focus on insulation installation or related trades such as carpentry, drywall, roofing, or masonry Familiarity with construction estimating processes and reading technical drawings or schematics Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely on construction sites Knowledge of safety protocols including ladder use, power tool safety, fall protection measures, and OSHA standards Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installation tasks Experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of building codes and blueprint reading skills Ability to climb ladders confidently and work at heights comfortably This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in the construction industry.
