We install spray foam and fiberglass insulation, perform air sealing, remove old insulation, and encapsulate crawl spaces. We provide hands-on training, so previous insulation experience is not 100% required. However, we want to be completely upfront: this is a physically demanding and sometimes dirty job. Insulation work was featured on Dirty Jobs for a reason! Much of the work takes place in hot attics, low crawl spaces, basements, and other tight areas. Some days are challenging, but for the right person, this is an opportunity to learn a valuable trade and grow with a small company. What You'll Do Install fiberglass and spray foam insulation in residential and commercial buildings Remove old, dusty, or damaged insulation Perform air sealing and crawl space encapsulation work Work in attics, crawl spaces, basements, and other tight or uncomfortable areas Carry materials, climb ladders, operate tools, and remain physically active throughout the day Wear required PPE, including respirators, masks, coveralls, gloves, and eye protection Help prepare job sites, protect customers' property, and maintain a clean work area Load, unload, organize, and care for tools, equipment, and materials Follow instructions and established safety procedures Learn Building Sciences What We're Looking For Our crews are small—typically two to three people—so every team member must be dependable and willing to contribute. We are looking for someone who: Is reliable, punctual, and ready to work Is a self-starter who notices what needs to be done without constantly being directed Can follow instructions carefully while also thinking independently Is creative, adaptable, and able to adjust to different job-site conditions and work paces Has a strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude Is comfortable working in close quarters, at heights, and in hot, cold, dusty, or dirty conditions Can lift and carry at least 50 pounds and remain on their feet for extended periods Takes safety, quality, and respect for customers' homes seriously Wants to learn a skilled trade and grow with the company Valid driver's license and a safe driving record A BIG Plus, but Not Required Previous experience working with insulation (Fiberglass, Loose-fill, Spray foam) Ability to drive a work truck and trailer Construction, mechanical, or hands-on work experience On job familiarity with power tools and job-site safety Why Join Attis Insulation?
