Overview:

Perform stick welding on steel components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Measure, cut, and fit materials using precision measuring tools. Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and welding standards. Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.

Skills and Experience:

Experience welding steel using the stick welding (SMAW) process. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong measuring and layout skills. Proficient in the safe use of a variety of hand tools. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
