Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to work effectively in a construction or manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding on various materials, including sheet metal and ductwork. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. Conduct fabrication tasks including assembly of components and pipe threading. Operate cranes and forklifts as needed for material handling. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Inspect finished products for quality assurance in accordance with ASME codes & standards. Experience Proven experience in construction site environments is preferred. Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding. Familiarity with mechanical tools such as calipers, micrometers, press brake machines, and plasma cutting equipment. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. Experience with rigging and machining processes is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
