Job Summary:
The Spray Technician II performs a wide variety of skilled work in finishing of newly built cabinetry and the restoration of all types of furniture and furniture finishes. Prepares and sprays all types of structures of various surfaces. Interprets plans and makes estimates of repairs and/or refinishing cost. May train and provide work leadership to entry level staff. Drives from site to site.
Additional Department Summary:
Performs skilled spray finishing and surface preparation for a variety of new and existing materials using specialized spray equipment and coatings. Prepares, repairs, stains, paints, and finishes surfaces. Provides support and assistance with general painting assignments throughout campus.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of spray technician experience. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:
Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
