We are currently hiring experienced Journeyman/Ironworkers for our Commercial Erection Division. These positions are in the field, and require working at different job sites in Arizona. Reliable transportation and being willing to travel between job sites is very important.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Practice safety procedures and policies Perform maintenance on job-related equipment Set up welding equipment Operate equipment such as forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and etc. Assemble hoisting equipment and rigging such as cables, pulleys, and hooks in order to move heavy equipment and materials Bolt and align structural steel members in position Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts Follow procedure with welding codes and blue prints Must be comfortable with heights of 40 ft. plus Must be able to endure exposure to extreme heat Must be able to endure exposure to noise Frequent walking, climbing, standing, sitting, and lifting 50 lbs. or more

Background & Experience:

HS Diploma or equivalent (Required) 1+ years of welding/steel erecting experience (Preferred)

OSHA 10/30

Certification (Preferred)

Requirements:

Must have valid Driver's License Must be able to pass a Drug Test Must be able to pass

Weld Test AF Steel Classifications:

Journeyman / Ironworker Levels

• responsible for installing structural and reinforcing iron and steel that forms and supports the buildings, and structural beams, stairways, and variety jobs. Able to comprehend blueprints, do all aspects of ironwork from welding, bolt-up, rigging, running equipment, connecting, installing handrail, stairs, bar joist and bridging. Level A
