Posted 07/2026 Job Description Job Summary FAA Licensed Required Travel bonus plus overtime surge rate AOG Resources is seeking experienced Heavy Maintenance Aviation Mechanics. In this role, you will support heavy maintenance operations on commercial aircraft (Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, etc. You will perform a wide range of tasks including servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, preserving, and overhauling aircraft systems and components. All work must be completed in compliance with FAA regulations, OEM specifications, and company maintenance procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on commercial aircraft systems and components. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and execute necessary repairs or modifications as directed. Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and maintenance documents. Complete all required documentation for maintenance activities and assume accountability through proper sign-off procedures. Utilize tools, gauges, and instruments efficiently and safely to complete assigned duties. Follow all company safety guidelines, maintenance protocols, and environmental regulations. in MRO setting demonstrating the following: Obtained and demonstrated all the skills required of a Structures Mechanic. Basic operating knowledge of shop equipment to include: drill presses, shears, brakes, and band saws. Ability to read, interpret and work from all Service Bulletins, AD's, EO's, & EA's Uses SRM Manual to identify damage limits and repairs. Uses IPC Manual to locate parts and identify effectively. Basic repair layouts/cutouts/repairs and parts replacement. Corrosion removal/damage evaluation, finish restoration. Basic repairs, blend outs, small skin doublers, small reinforcing doublers. Basic parts fabrication to include clips, brackets, doublers and angles. Proper use of safety equipment Proper use of drill motor and drills Proper use of rivet gun, rivet sets and bucking bars Proper use of various types of cleco' s and clamps Able to countersink and use of countersink microstops, rivet cutters, reamers, hand files, aircraft hand snips (L/H, R/H, Straight), hole finders, deburring tools, manual foot operated shears, manual metal brake, manual metal rollers, drill press, power shears, power disc sander, power band saw, high-speed sanders and grinders Recognize and use of titanium alloys and stainless steel Install and removal of universal head rivets, flush head rivets and a selection of appropriate fasteners Install and remove hi-locs, cherry-max and cherry-loc rivets, hi-shear fasteners and rivnuts, Identify types of corrosion, proper corrosion clean-up, evaluation of corrosion damage and treatment of metal after clean-up Knowledge of alodining procedures, priming treated metal surfaces, dissimilar metal protection Operation of computers to access manuals General knowledge of ATA codes General knowledge of aircraft manuals and related materials General knowledge of applicable F.A.R.
