Our work requires precision, problem-solving, and professionalism—not just physical labor. We value installers who can think ahead, adapt in the field, and take pride in doing things right the first time. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Steel & Aluminum Erector / Installation Specialist to join our field installation team. This role is for experienced construction professionals who can read prints, anticipate installation challenges, and execute high-quality work safely and efficiently. This is not a general labor position. Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and field layouts.
  • Install aluminum and steel systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform post-and-brace layouts on concrete, masonry, stucco, and EIFS.
  • Ability to identify mismatches between plans, materials, and site conditions.
  • Safely rig, stage, lift, and install materials using cranes, boom lifts, and forklifts.
  • Verify alignment, level, plumb, and finish quality.
  • Coordinate with foremen, crane operators, welders, and other trades.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
  • Follow company safety policies and OSHA standards.
  • Mentor less experienced crew members when applicable.
  • Document progress and field modifications accurately. Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience as a steel or aluminum erector or installer.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Experience with laser levels, power tools, and rigging equipment.
  • Comfortable working at heights and outdoors year-round.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical reasoning.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Welding experience is a plus.
  • OSHA 10 (preferred) Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials. 75+ pounds regularly
  • Ability to climb, kneel, and work overhead.
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, and windy environments. Benefits
