Description:

Responsibilities Sand blasting / soda blasting / shot peening Surface prep, stress relief, coating prep Body work (Devcon / Hysol) Filling, bonding, repairing surface imperfections using aerospace epoxies Sanding & hand finishing Deburring, smoothing parts to spec Metal treatment To include cleaning, prepping for anodize, Alodine, or coatings Respirator use Blasting media, dust, and chemical exposure Some use of hand and power tools. Painting Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during all activities.

Skills and Experiences:

High School diploma or equivalency certificate 1 year experience in a similar environment. Body shop, machine, shop, sheet metal experience. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to prioritize assignments. Physical Requirements Able to lift 60 lbs + Continuous respirator use FAA/DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program This position is subject to the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) drug and alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 40 and Part 120.
