Full Job Description Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Ornamental Iron Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating, assembling, and installing ornamental iron products such as railings, gates, fences, staircases, and custom metalwork. Our projects primarily involve high-end houses, requiring exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. This position requires strong welding expertise and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities:

Install ornamental iron structures including railings, gates, staircases, and fences. Operate hand and power tools, including welding equipment, grinders, and saws. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Ensure proper alignment and secure installation of all structures. Perform on-site welding, grinding, and finishing as needed. Conduct quality checks and inspections to meet safety and aesthetic standards. Work in collaboration with Superintendents and clients to ensure project satisfaction. Maintain a safe and organized worksite, adhering to OSHA safety regulations. Load, transport, and unload materials and equipment to and from job sites. Attend every shift on time and work as a team member. Work 4-10 hour shifts Tuesday-Friday, with three days off per week. Occasionally work overtime when required.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in ornamental iron installation required. Proficiency in Stick & MIG welding; Stick Welding is necessary, TIG welding is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use various hand and power tools. Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices. Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work at heights. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good attendance is mandatory. Construction and tool use experience required. Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
