- Fabricate architectural & structural components using brass, bronze, copper, stainless steel, aluminum, and other exotic metals.
- Interpret architectural drawings & shop drawings accurately.
- Operate a variety of metalworking equipment, including presses, shears, rollers, welding and soldering tools and various hand tools
- Assembly of metal components that includes: drilling, tapping, fastening and joining components through TIG welding, MIG welding, brazing, soldering and using mechanical fastening systems.
- Metal forming and shaping tasks require knowledge and experience in using press brakes, tube and pipe benders. hydraulic forming equipment, manual forming techniques and custom fabrication jigs and fixtures to produce the needed profiles and pieces .
- Applying final surface treatments that include mechanical polishing with buffing wheels, Tripoli compounds and rouge polishing compounds to achieve satin, brushed mirror or antique finishes as needed
- Maintains high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in the workshop.
- Troubleshoot fabrication challenges and recommend innovative solutions.
Misc Details:
- Work geographic area is in Orange County, California
- Pay period is weekly with a single workweek of 7 days used in computing wages due, hours are 6:30am-3:00pm (varies)
- Federal & State Taxes that are required by law will be deducted from paychecks (ex: PIT,Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment) and will not make any deductions that are not required by law.
- The employer will reimburse any H2B worker visa, border & related fees including those mandated by the government
- Tools & equipment will be provided for use at no cost
