Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating metal components and assemblies according to detailed blueprints and schematics. Your expertise in welding, cutting, and assembly will help ensure the delivery of top-tier products that meet our quality standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specifications. Fabricate metal components through cutting, grinding, fitting, forming, drilling, and assembly processes. Perform MIG and/or TIG welding as required. Measure and inspect materials to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards are met. Operate fabrication equipment and shop tools safely and efficiently. Assist with layout and fit-up of fabricated assemblies. Maintain organized workstations and shop cleanliness. Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and proper PPE requirements. Collaborate with welders, machinists, laser operators, and production personnel to meet project deadlines. Identify fabrication issues and communicate concerns to supervisors promptly. Perform material handling and loading/unloading activities as needed. Support continuous improvement and shop efficiency initiatives. Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum 2-5 years of metal fabrication experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience with MIG welding; TIG welding experience preferred. Knowledge of fabrication tools, equipment, and measuring instruments. Strong understanding of shop safety practices and PPE requirements. Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
