Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator with a strong background in sheet metal fabrication and assembly to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with aerospace-grade materials and equipment while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate fabricating machines such as shears, press brakes, bending rolls, punch presses, and drill presses to cut, bend, and form sheet metal Shape metal over anvils, blocks, or forms using hammers and other tools Set up and operate soldering and welding equipment to join sheet metal parts Smooth seams, joints, and rough surfaces using files, grinders, or buffers Fabricate and assemble components using aluminum, steel, titanium, and other alloys Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications Install assemblies according to blueprints, sketches, and written instructions Inspect assemblies and finished products for conformance using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and scales Ensure all work meets aerospace quality standards and company requirements Follow all established safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Participate in special projects and cross-functional support as needed Qualifications 1-3 years of sheet metal fabrication experience required ( aerospace preferred ) Technical or vocational training preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Experience with fabrication equipment and hand tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and in a team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience working under aerospace standards (AS9100 or similar) Familiarity with precision manufacturing and tight tolerances
