Job Description
Structural Steel Welder / Ironworker (Shop & Field) We're Hiring! We're looking for experienced Structural Steel Welders/Ironworkers to join our team. If you have experience fabricating, fitting, welding, or erecting structural steel, we'd like to hear from you. We are looking for dependable individuals who take pride in producing quality work while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities Fabricate, fit, tack, and weld structural steel components. Perform MIG, FCAW, and/or Stick welding on structural steel. Operate welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication equipment. Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. Assist with steel erection and field installation when needed. Work effectively with supervisors and team members to complete projects on schedule. Qualifications 3+ years of structural steel welding or ironworking experience preferred. Experience with structural steel fabrication and/or field erection is preferred. Welding certifications (including AWS D1.1 and/or LA City) are a plus and may qualify for higher starting pay. Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings is a plus. Reliable, motivated, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Able to lift 50+ lbs. and work in both shop and field environments.
