Monday-Friday | Day Shift Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and dependable Welder to join a busy structural steel fabrication team in Stockton, CA. This position is responsible for welding and fabricating steel components while maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Perform MIG and Flux-Core welding on structural steel components Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal parts according to specifications Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy Operate hand tools, grinders, and other fabrication equipment safely Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals Qualifications Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or structural steel environment preferred Experience with MIG and Flux-Core welding required Ability to read blueprints and measuring tools Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Skills Structural steel or fabrication shop experience Knowledge of welding safety procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Balance Staffing is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
